Vastum Engineering was engaged to assess, inspect and develop concept design options for the upgrade of an ageing Pollution Treatment Plant at a major industrial maintenance facility in Rockhampton, Queensland. The existing plant was affected by corroded treatment tanks, deteriorated hardstand areas, ageing environmental control systems and limited monitoring capability, creating growing operational, maintenance and compliance risk.

Following a detailed site inspection and technical assessment, Vastum developed multiple upgrade options and progressed the preferred solution to approximately 30% concept design, providing a roadmap for future investment and infrastructure renewal.
